Dee Majko, PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Dee Majko is the founder and Clinical Director of Majko Group. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington, DC and Virginia with over 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, children and families to navigate a wide range of issues, such as relationship and marital problems, intimacy, infidelity, anxiety, depression, work conflict, parenting, and life transitions. She has extensive experience with psychological testing and immigration evaluations. Originally from Albania, she is fluent in English and Albanian, and is responsive and sensitive to cultural issues and differences.
Dr. Dee has worked in numerous clinical settings including private practice, outpatient community health centers, and residential treatment facilities. She has received post-graduate advanced clinical training at the Washington School of Psychiatry and completed the two-year Clinical Program, followed by one year of specialized training in couples therapy. Additionally, Dr. Dee completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Consultation and Supervision Program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dee is a faculty professor at The Chicago School where she teaches graduate students in the psychodynamic therapy, consultation and supervision. Dr. Dee enjoys and is passionate about teaching, mentoring, training and supervising doctoral students and other professionals in the field. Dr. Dee regularly lectures, consults and conducts training for mental health professionals, financial professionals, and the general public.
